Mid-Year Fasting and Prayer Article

Hello Brethren, I pray your hearts are still stirred from our time of worship today. What a joy it is to gather in His presence!

As we prepare to begin our 21 days of fasting and prayer tomorrow, I want to encourage you to join in with faith and expectancy. This is not a religious duty—it is a sacred invitation to draw closer to God and trust Him for breakthroughs in every area of our lives.

I believe God has promised five things for us during this season. I want you to hold onto these, meditate on them, and pray them into existence:

1. Divine Alignment with Purpose – We are asking God to adjust our steps, our decisions, and our dreams so that they line up perfectly with His will. No more wandering or wondering; we are praying for clarity and direction.
2. Access to Divine Presence – We are not seeking just His hand, but His face. We are asking for a fresh, tangible experience of His nearness. We want to dwell in the secret place and know that He is with us.
3. Outpouring of Divine Provision – God sees every need, every bill, every financial pressure, and every resource gap. We are trusting Him not just to meet our needs, but to supply them abundantly and creatively.
4. Guarantee of Divine Protection – In a world filled with uncertainty, we declare that we are covered by the blood of Jesus. We are praying for a hedge of protection around our families, our health, our minds, and our children.
5. Affirmation of Divine Peace – We are asking for the kind of peace that doesn’t make sense to the world—a peace that anchors us in the middle of the storm and keeps our hearts steadfast.
Let us pray for these with bold hearts. Let us seek His face, believing for miracles, for provision, and for the peace that surpasses all understanding. Remember, “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (James 5:16), and our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

So join this fast with expectant hearts. The God who moves on behalf of His people will surely meet us with mercy and power. May these 21 days become a season of divine encounters and lasting testimonies for every family among us.

Grace and peace to you all. See you on the other side of breakthrough!
